ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Eric Shea Broadus is the founder and investment advisor representative at Can Serve Free LLC, an investment advisory firm dedicated to helping investors build tailor-made, profitable portfolios consisting of stocks and healthcare real estate investment trusts (REITs) that focus on fighting cancer. Eric, a survivor of acute myeloid leukemia of more than thirty years, has over twenty years of experience in various finance roles in healthcare finance, global cash management, and foreign currency risk management. His experience in healthcare finance includes working as Associate Treasury Manager at the global biotech company Stryker Corporation, Finance Manager for the Pediatric Oncology Department at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Sr. Financial Analyst at the hospital network Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) related to system-wide operational performance analytics and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) reporting. He holds a BA degree in Economics from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and an MA degree in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University (School of Advanced International Studies). Eric and his wife, Liliana, currently live in the state of Georgia.
